Research Activity
- Synchrotron Radiation studies on surfaces, interfaces and ultrathin films. Main techniques used: X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy, X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy, Ultraviolet Photoemission Spectroscopy, Surface X-ray Diffraction.
- Responsible of a laboratory devoted to growth of metal nanostructures and metal/oxide core-shell nanoparticles with a nanocluster gas-aggregation source and in situ XPS analysis.
- Co-author of 80 publications on international scientific journals and of 3 book chapters.
- Associate member of S3 research centre NANO Institute of Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR).
- Member of Technical Committee of EN&TECH Laboratory, Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia.
- Faculty member of the Ph.D. School “Physics and Nanoscience”, Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia.
- Co-organizer of symposia at E-MRS 2015 Fall Meeting and MRS 2016 Spring Meeting.
