Venetian Historical Workshop (2nd ed.)


The "Officina della Storia" (Historical Workshop) addresses those who are interested in historical research inside the city of Venice. The Officina is a sort of journey through some important places preserving documents and witness to significant historical experience: a Museum, churches, Archives, neighborhoods, factories. Each of these places are presented by specialist of the period or topic.

  • deal with a conscious approach to documentary sources; 
  • identify the cultural and historic depth of Venice, beyond the touristic perception; 
  • understand the historic significance within unsung and unknown places.
