The Bibliographic research

About the Course

The course aims to introduce students, but also teachers, librarians and interested researchers, to a first analysis of the basic characteristics of scholar communication in the Internet Age, with particular attention to the phenomenon of Open Access. Then the course presents the main tools of bibliographic research: the online catalogs of libraries (OPAC), bibliographies (especially those available online) and databases (particularly Humanities databases) with the help of some tutorials.
