Anyone in the world

Did you ever surprised about very late sunset? This happened to our team in the beautiful city of Bruges that hosted the 28th Annual Conference of the European Distance and E-learning Network (EDEN) entitled "Connecting Through Educational Technology". The three days in the University of Vives (University of Applied Sciences) aimed to inspire the group of educators by sharing ideas, projects and research experiences about e-learning and new technologies for education. EDEN has worked assiduously on these issues since 1991 in many European countries with teachers and private professionals for the sharing and promotion of policies and practices concerning distance education.

We spoke about EduOpen.

In the presentation (on June 18), we showed the EduOpen "numbers" linked to our users (currently over 50K). We discussed about the main reasons, collected through a questionnaire, that push users to register on the portal and, in second analysis, to abandon a MOOC. The most discussed results regard interaction processes with peers and teachers, a topic much debated by the scientific community sector.
