Monica Dessole completed her Master’s degree in Mathematics in 2017 with a thesis entitled “An hybrid model for the solution of incompressible density dependent Navier-Stokes equations, implementation on GPUs”, in collaboration with University of Lille, where she spent a term thanks to the Erasmus+ programme. She then joined a research project aimed at real-time fluid flow simulations for virtual prototyping. She also worked as teaching assistant of Computer Programming in Python at the Mathematics Department of University of Padova. Her main scientific interests are numerical methods and algorithms for massively parallel architectures.
